at least it was like laughably mediocre? like idk I enjoy a not-great tv show every once in a while
I like mediocre shows as long as there’s one bright spot to them, but I didn’t watch arrow long enough to see what that would be. besides the general attractiveness of everyone. I think I’ll probably end up giving it a try and if I feel like they’re presenting me with someone I deem holy un-ollie then I might quit because I’m picky like that

it’s HILARIOUSLY BAD also apparently if you like/care about green arrow’s characterization in the comics you won’t like how he’s portrayed in the show
yeah I’ve also watched the first couple episodes and it was very mediocre. I also didn’t like the fact that he was going around murdering people.
hmmmmm
I do care about ollie’s characterization and his bizarre aggressive liberalism but also his shittyness but also his ollie-ness and if it doesn’t have that I might be turned off
I’m also SuPeR picky about adaptions
but my family watches the show “for me” despite me telling them numerous times that I do not watch this show so I may have no choice but to watch this summer.
I guess time will tell

it was really good and sad and then the plot twist made it kind of annoying and stupid, I’m not sure it’s worth it
hmmm if it’s on tv at some point I’ll watch it but I won’t go out of my way to find it, i think

well he’s basically the only superhero and he goes around stopping bus crashes and stuff but he’s miserable and lonely and an alcoholic and everyone hates him because he messes up as often as not
aw that sounds really sad I don’t know if I want to watch that movie

save people from normal things like bus crashes and robberies?
would you believe that i literally forgot about those being things when I wrote that post
but yeah I guess that’s what you’d do then
I can’t help but feel that being a lone superhero would suck though
imagine doing every single thing on your own
all you’d end up with would be a powerful sense of failure

CAN I SEND YOU ONE NOW? IF SO I WANT DANNY/MISTY SPACE AU
uhhh uhhhh
In space, no one can hear you scream - or at least that’s what they say.
It’s a little different when you’re connected to each other on the comms, and god she loves that boy but every time he says something like “fisted nibble of the crouching mouse!” Misty can’t help but roll her eyes at him (fondly though, fondly).
but then she’s finished the anti-gravity calibrations on her arm, and she launches her through the airlock to join fight, and maybe no one can hear you scream in space but danny can hear her say “time to kick some alien ass!” and the black nothingness surrounding them isn’t empty but so so so alive
